Leases
How this works in LynkOffice
What you can do
Draft the lease for a unit and tenant, review its rent and installment schedule, and complete the required approval before activation. A draft lease is not an active occupancy agreement in the system.
Fields and controls
- Tenant (client)
- Contract Start
- Contract End
- Installment Schedule
Prepare properties, units and tenant records. Verify dates, availability, taxes and deposit treatment before activation.

A practical example
One unit,throughout its lease.
A tenant signs a lease with quarterly rent. Set the due schedule and deposit, review generated or prepared invoices, then record collections. If a maintenance request arrives, track its responsibility and cost without changing the rent payment history.
Illustrative workflow, not a customer result. Available steps depend on configuration and subscription.
Your working day

Set the lease terms
Draft the lease for a unit and tenant, review its rent and installment schedule, and complete the required approval before activation. A draft lease is not an active occupancy agreement in the system.
Follow collections
Review rent installments and outstanding balances, generate an invoice for an eligible item, then record and reconcile payment through Sales or Finance. An invoice does not mean the rent was collected.
Coordinate maintenance
Log maintenance against the property or unit, assign responsibility and dispatch the request into an Operations work order. Follow actual completion and costs through the linked workflow.

Prepare properties, units and tenant records. Verify dates, availability, taxes and deposit treatment before activation. Use the active lease schedule and check existing invoices before generating another one for the same period. Rental Management handles the request; dispatching operational work also requires Operations to be active.
What to review as an owner
Track occupancy, amounts due, collections, deposits and owner statements.
